The University of British Columbia places among the top 20 universities in the world. As its agency of record, it was our role to get their recruitment team everything they needed to connect with students around the globe. In 2013 we made the pinnacle print piece – the UBC Viewbook – as well as a wide range of supporting collateral such as print and web advertising, and print-specific pieces for parents and Aboriginal students. Merging print, social, and new media, the Viewbook was an overwhelming success in terms of media integration. Using augmented reality technology and the UBC Mobile App, photos turned to videos and the print piece came to life online.

 

As the project’s creative lead I helped to pitch the campaign, devise a strategy after winning the pitch, and execute the campaign through to completion.
